Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA), through EME presidential initiative, offers a support program for electronics startups in Egypt. This program provides a range of services that help these startups develop their products and grow into successful businesses. The Agency designed the program to (1) offer rent-free office spaces, (2) provide access to the most sophisticated prototyping facilities, (3) grant transportation allowances, and (4) give financial aid.

Electronics Startup Support Program provides rent-free office spaces in the Innovation Hub (IH) building in the Knowledge City of the New Administrative Capital for an entire year. The one-year incubation period covers providing access to the services of shared multipurpose spaces. This accessibility gives startups an excellent opportunity to work in a professional environment that promotes collaboration, creativity, and innovation.

The Program also enables access to the most sophisticated technical innovation prototyping facilities. Startups can leverage on advanced technologies and equipment for their projects. They can also utilize shared, multipurpose spaces to help them collaborate with other startups within the Program.

In addition, the Program offers a transportation allowance to the office spaces during the incubation year. This eases the financial burden on startups, allowing them to focus more on developing their businesses.

The Program gives financial aid to eligible startups up to EGP 1 million. Startups may use this monetary aid to obtain a range of services, such as consultation, component purchasing, prototyping, certifications, and marketing services. Such a funding can help startups overcome financial challenges that may hinder their growth.
