His professional experience spans across global giants such as IBM, HP, and Honeywell. Throughout his career, Mahmoud has consistently demonstrated his ability to drive strategic growth, business development, transform sales organizations, and build high-performing teams across diverse markets, including the Middle East, Africa, and Central Asia. His leadership has been instrumental in delivering exceptional results, from growing revenues and market share to spearheading major organizational transformations.

Mahmoud excels at navigating complex challenges and turning obstacles into opportunities for success. A strong advocate for talent development, he takes pride in mentoring team members, helping them achieve their full potential, and guiding many to President’s Club honors and promotions into leadership roles.

Outside of his professional achievements, Mahmoud is a passionate triathlete and an Ironman 140.6 finisher. Sales Excellence: Consistently surpassed sales targets by up to 3X, expanded gross margins, and secured the #1 market share position in the Enterprise Segment (per IDC).

Digital Innovations: Spearheaded initiatives like Digital Classrooms and Device-As-A-Service (DaaS) across multiple Middle Eastern countries, improving tech solutions in both educational and corporate sectors.

SaaS & IoT Solutions: Pioneered an IoT+SaaS solution for real-time safety monitoring and data analysis of mining workers, significantly enhancing workplace safety.

Change Management: Led strategic business transformation, including the integration of HP's printing and PC sales, as well as leading the Separation Management Office to establish HP Inc. in the Middle East.

Go-To-Market and Channels: Developed a new 2-Tier channel program for Productivity Solutions, increasing distribution share from 30% to 65% while maintaining double-digit topline growth. Established a strategic supply chain plan from India and China driving 200% segment growth.

Diversity and Local Expansion: Implemented diversity hiring strategies that notably increased female representation in sales roles and established new markets in Africa, including production facilities in the UAE.

Mahmoud holds a bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications and Electronics Engineering from Cairo University.
