The Egypt Makes Electronics (EME) aims to foster and develop the electronics industry (design and manufacturing) in Egypt. It embraces innovation projects and support programs, and offers services and incentives to scaleup eco-system with the objective of bringing value to Egyptian Electronics Industry by stimulating new investment, fostering R&D-based for innovative electronics products and components, developing the capacity of human resources (Technical and Management), enabling electronics design houses and encouraging exports that put Egypt as regional hub for Electronics and Telecom Industries and world destination of choice for electronics design and innovation.
The Program Manager – (Enable Electronics Industry Design & Innovation) is responsible for designing, managing, and executing national programs that strengthen Egypt’s electronics Industry ecosystem, foster innovation, and accelerate commercialization of locally developed electronic technologies.
The role focuses on enabling Egypt to become a world for electronics and semiconductor design, bridging academia, startups, industry, and global technology partners

• Electronics Eco-System Development
 oDevelop and manage national programs supporting; Electronics design, Embedded systems development; Hardware innovation, AI hardware; etc.
 oStrengthen collaboration between universities, startups, and industry.
• Innovation Program Management
oDesign and oversee the enablement programs for electronics design and innovation
oOverseeing the operation of technology innovation labs
oMaintaining technical aspects in development programs
oSupport conversion of university research into commercial products
oIndustry-sponsored design challenges
• Industry Collaboration and Partnerships
oEngage global electronics companies to Sponsor design programs, Establish joint labs, Mentor startups and Transfer technical know-how
oBuild partnerships between Egyptian design houses and international firms
oLaunch specialized training programs and align skill development with industry needs
oSupport Bilateral cooperation programs with different stakeholders
• Program Governance and Delivery – EME Initiative
oDefine program objectives, timelines, budgets, and KPIs.
oManage implementation across multiple executing partners.
oMonitor performance and ensure achievement of strategic outcomes.
oPrepare executive periodical progress reports.

•B.Sc. in Electronics / Computer Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Science of Technology or related degree
•Master degree or MBA is a plus

•+10 years or more experience in Electronics Industry Development
•Good knowledge of Product Development Life Cycle
•Good knowledge of financial and procurement practices.
•+5 years in technological multi-programs management
•Technical knowledge of technology transfer processes
•Experience in maintaining the coordination with governmental agencies
