Egypt extends its exporting frontiers as a regional leader by introducing the Export-IT Program to bolster the domestic ICT industry. ITIDA first launched the program in 2010 to help Egyptian companies grow their exports from IT/ITES products and services. By virtue of the program, eligible companies receive direct exports support on the collected proceeds of their value-added exports within a specified calendar year. Throughout the 14 rounds of Export-IT, ITIDA continued to strengthen and expand its support, where over 330 local companies benefitted from the program. In 2024, ITIDA launched the new round of Export-IT program covering the export proceeds collected during 2023. The Agency primarily aims to maximize the benefits of micro- and small-sized companies and encourage medium-sized companies to grow and increase their exports.
