EXPORT-IT PROGRAM

Export-IT is a flagship program of ITIDA and forms an integral part of its strategy. The program is the first of its kind in the region, with Egypt being the first country to launch a dedicated program that supports ICT exports and channels exporters to help them grow resources and boost competitiveness

OVERVIEW

Egypt is expanding its export capabilities as a regional leader by introducing the Export-IT Program, aimed at strengthening the domestic ICT industry. ITIDA first launched this program in 2010 to support Egyptian companies in increasing their exports of IT and IT-enabled services (ITES).

Through this program, eligible companies receive direct support based on the proceeds from their value-added exports within a specific calendar year. Throughout 15 rounds of the Export-IT Program, ITIDA has continuously enhanced and expanded its support, helping over 370 local companies.

ITIDA has launched a new round of the Export-IT Program, focusing on export proceeds collected during 2024. The primary goal is to maximize benefits for micro and small companies while encouraging medium-sized companies to grow and boost their exports.

Governance and Quality Control Procedures

All export transactions and supporting documents are audited, reviewed, and cross-validated by the program's external auditor.

Based on a sample of the participated companies, we analyze data collected after auditor validation to provide an in-depth overview of their ICT exports.
