ITIDA's Information Technology Academic Collaboration (ITAC) program is now accepting proposals for the 21st round of its University Student Projects Program. This initiative empowers senior-year students to bridge the gap between academic research and industry application.
Quick Facts
- Target Audience: Senior year (4th year) Engineering and Computer Science students in Egypt.
- Project Scope: Projects must be directly related to Information and Communications Technology (ICT).
- Funding: Up to EGP 30,000 per selected project.
How the Selection Process Works
To ensure transparency and fairness, every submitted proposal undergoes a rigorous evaluation:
1. Unified Review: A specialized reviewer is assigned to each project.
2. Binary Evaluation: Proposals are assessed using a "Yes/No" evaluation sheet.
3. Winning Criteria: Only projects that receive a "Yes" for every single requirement on the evaluation sheet are selected for funding.
Application Checklist & Procedures
To apply, students must complete the following steps before the deadline on February 26, 2026:
1. Prepare Documentation: -Fill out the Student Application Form. -Complete the Proposal Template. -Draft the Budget Form in accordance with the official Financial Guidelines.
2. Submit via Email: Send all required documents to itacgp@itida.gov.eg.
3. Confirmation: Upon acceptance, you will receive an approval email, followed by a separate notification regarding your approved budget from Gbudget@itida.gov.eg.
