Senior Project Manager
Job Purpose
  • • The Egypt Makes Electronics (EME) aims to foster and develop the electronics industry (design and manufacturing) in Egypt. It establishes projects, and offers services and incentives to embrace eco-system with the objective of bringing value to Egyptian Electronics Industry by stimulating new investment, fostering R&D-based for innovative electronics products and components, developing the capacity of human resources (Technical and Management), enabling electronics design houses and encouraging exports that put Egypt as the leading regional hub for Electronics Industry.     • The Senior Project Manager oversees the different projects and services to ensure that they serve the above objective, enforces the different policies and processes approved by the Electronics Steering Committee, and keeps track of the different KPIs.
Job Accountabilities
  • • Managing the different processes and procedures related to the EME projects, programs and services.
    • Establishing and maintaining relationship with business partners
    • Maintaining technical aspects in development programs
    • Planning projects milestones, directing and coordinating the activities of designated projects to ensure that project objectives are accomplished within the agreed schedule and budget
    • Periodic executive reports for the different programs KPIs.
    • Defining new processes as per the recommendations of the Electronics Steering Committee or ITIDA top management.
    • Performs subcontractors’ communication, qualification, negotiation, and validates deliverables to ensure the quality, schedule and budget.
    • Managing the administrative, financial and promotion activities with other supportive departments within ITIDA
    • Maintaining capacity building programs in electronics technology
    • Anticipate stakeholders needs and their approval when required
Education
  • • B.Sc. in Electronics / Mechatronics / Electrical Engineering
    • M.Sc., MBA or PMP is a plus.
Required Experience
  • • 10 years or more experience in electronics technology (design or manufacturing) domain, Mechatronics or embedded systems.
    • Good knowledge of financial and procurements practices.
    • 5 years or more project management experience.     
    • Strong knowledge of latest electronics industry trends.
    • Good knowledge of startup and entrepreneurs’ eco-system
Required Skills
  • • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Strong conflict resolution, negotiation and influential skills
    • Leadership and management skills.
    • Excellent command of MS Office and MS Project tools.
    • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
    • Strategic and critical thinking.
