ITIDA's Software Engineering Competence Center (SECC), has officially announced the upcoming 9th consecutive edition of
DevOpsDays Cairo 2026, scheduled to take place on
Saturday, 26 September 2026, at
Creativa – Giza (Ben Al-Sarayat).
Held under the theme
"Sustainable DevOps in the Agentic AI Era", this year's conference will address how artificial intelligence is shifting from supportive assistance to autonomous co-working within IT pipelines. The event will convene software engineers, IT infrastructure professionals, and tech leaders to explore strategies for leveraging agentic AI while maintaining resilient, sustainable, and human-centered software delivery operations.
Expanding the Regional DevOps Ecosystem
DevOpsDays is an internationally recognized technical conference series dedicated to software development, IT operations, and the cultural alignment between them. Originally founded in Ghent, Belgium, in 2009, the movement spans over 60 global tech hubs. Cairo proudly stands as the
only city in the Arab region to continuously host DevOpsDays since its inaugural local launch in 2018.
In response to the growing Egyptian tech ecosystem and the success of prior single-track gatherings,
DevOpsDays Cairo 2026 has officially received approval to transition to a multi-track format. This structural upgrade allows attendees to participate in parallel technical sessions, peer-led discussions, and specialized workshops.
