Project NINJA (Next Innovation with Japan), invites Egyptian technology startups to join the official national delegation to
SusHi Tech Tokyo 2026.
Supported by: JICA and ITIDA.
Mission Overview
This strategic mission is designed to build bridges between Egyptian ingenuity and Japanese industry leadership. Selected startups will gain high-level exposure, curated business matching, and direct access to Japanese corporates and investors.

Delegation Size: Up to 10 Startups
Program Structure & Objectives
Our mission is to unlock global expansion through a structured presence in the Japanese ecosystem.
Key Objectives:
1-Global Promotion: Showcase Egypt's innovation ecosystem on an international stage.
2-Strategic Investment: Facilitate meetings with Japanese VCs and CVCs.
3-Corporate Collaboration: Enable Proof of Concepts (PoCs) with leading Japanese firms.
4-Market Expansion: Support entry into the broader Asian and African markets via Japan.
Participation Format: All selected startups will follow a standard schedule aligned with the main event. A select group may be invited for an
Extended Stay (Tentative window: April 18 – May 3) for deep-dive investor engagements based on corporate interest.
Eligibility & Target Sectors
We are looking for legally registered Egyptian startups, preferably at
Series A or above, with established product-market fit and strong traction (revenue or user growth).

Support & Commitment
Travel Coverage: JICA will cover round-trip airfare (economy class), accommodation, and a daily per diem for
one (1) representative per selected startup.
Mandatory Reporting: Selected startups must commit to transparency and accountability. This includes:
1- Submitting meeting summaries during the mission.
2- A consolidated post-event report within one week of return.
3- Quarterly progress reports for 12 months following the mission.
Note: A No-Show policy applies. Withdrawal after signing the Commitment Form requires reimbursement of all incurred costs.
