IT Help Desk Specialist
Job Purpose

  • ●Assisting ITIDA employees who are experiencing any procedural or operating difficulty with the use of IT applications, products or services. Ensure that an effective solution is provided to the user

Job Accountabilities

  • ●Maintain helpdesk support and resolve problems to the end user’s satisfaction.
    ●Check and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the IT helpdesk and Phone and remote support for end users.
    ●Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, operating systems, screens, and scanners and reviewing the inventory of all equipment.
    ●Coordinate PC setup and deployment for new employees using standard hardware, images, and software.
    ●Carry out timely workstation hardware and software upgrades as required.
    ●Troubleshoot the network services (printing, email service, and Internet access)
    ●Operating audiovisual equipment and assisting in organizing events.
    ●Record events, problems, and their resolution in the ticketing system.
Education

  • ●Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information system
Required Experience

  • ●1-2 years of experience 
    ●Ability to troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues
    ●Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems. 
    ●Proficient in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
    ●Excellent communication skills. 
    ●Good command of both written & spoken English.
Required Skills

  • ●Experience with PC data
    ●Good communication and Problem-solving skills.
    ●Experience in working will Call Center and Ticketing System. 
    ●In depth knowledge of desktop Computer Hardware/ software troubleshooting.
    ●Experience in Desktop Software installation, configuration, and Printers setup.
