Training Specialist
Job Purpose
  • The training Coordinator is an integral member of the HR Capital Building team responsible for delivering human Capital building development projects of varying size and complexity. The Training Coordinator is responsible for directing, Organizing and controlling project activities, under the direction of a Project Manager.
Job Accountabilities
  • • Works closely with training providers to produce programs that are satisfactory to all relevant parties.
    • Responsible for ongoing project updates with the beneficiary companies, Training providers and Project Manager.
    • Considers the cost of planned programs and keep within budgets: assessing the return on investment of any training or development program.
    • Monitors and reviews the progress of trainees by using questionnaires and through discussions with companies' managers.
    • Ensures that statutory project requirements are met.
    • Review and prepare accounts payable to providers
    • Maintains provider contracts/processes and documents change requests
    • Monitors project scope, schedule and budget and reports deviations and makes recommendations to the Project Manager to stay on course.
Education
  • • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent from reputable university.
Required Experience
  • • 1-2 years of experience supporting Project Managers in the delivery of development projects.
    • Basic Industry Knowledge of Information Technology (ICT).
    • Knowledge of the procedures and steps of the projects in general.
Required Skills
  • • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
    • Proficiency in MS Office and database software.
    • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
    • Ability to perfectly communicate in English language (reading, writing and speaking)
