Egypt Makes Electronics (EME), a presidential initiative launched in 2015, delivers a Capacity-Building program for engineering and computer science students and grads. EME newly launched program provides practice methodologies, specialized knowledge and skills in key areas of electronic systems design and development, embedded software, and integrated circuits (IC) design This Program aims to (a) professionally train over 12K engineers, and (b) qualify candidates to meet the highest standard of market demands in the electronics field. The Agency has partnered with major local and global educational entities to deliver these educational courses and diplomas.
The Program leverages three specializations, namely; Professional Design, Electronics Industry (Vocational), and Industry 4.0 (digital transformation). The Program provides training tracks and topics covering:
The program is available in online and hybrid format to give learners the opportunity and flexibility to join and avail all tools and labs that can enhance their skills.Offered Tracks will vary according to each educational partner covering embedded systems and security, and analog/digital integrated circuit (IC) design.Duration of each track will also vary as per the educational partner. A track duration will range from 2 to 4 months.English is the language of this training program.
EME designed this Advanced Learning Collaboration program, to consider specific and practical ways in which the Initiative, with partners, can contribute to enabling grads/undergrads to build on their capacities related to electronic systems design and development, embedded software, and integrated circuits (IC) design. Training Tracks are fully funded through highly reputable industrial and educational partners:
Advanced learning in IC Design and Embedded Systems is a valuable investment for undergraduates and graduates looking to (1) develop their careers, and (2) stay up-to-date with the latest developments on the ground. With a strong foundation in IC design and embedded systems principles, as well as specialized knowledge and skills in advanced topics, applicants can make meaningful contributions to sharpen their skill sets and carve out their careers. They can also pitch in new tech ideas and products in the constantly growing field of electronic systems technologies. Here is a list of EME key objectives:
